BSHS CHO Recruitment 2025: The Bihar State Health Society (BSHS) has released Advertisement No. 02/2025 inviting online applications for 4500 Community Health Officer (CHO) positions under the National Health Mission (NHM). These contractual roles aim to strengthen primary healthcare services at Health & Wellness Centres across Bihar.

Eligible candidates can apply online from 05 May 2025 (10:00 AM) to 26 May 2025 (6:00 PM) via the official website. Selection will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by document verification.

Educational Qualification

• B.Sc. (Nursing) with successful completion of six months integrated curriculum of Certificate in Community Health (CCH) from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University from academic year 2020 onward

OR

• Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with successful completion of six months integrated curriculum of Certificate in Community Health (CCH) from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University from academic year 2020 onwards

OR

• B.Sc. (Nursing) / Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) / General Nurse and Midwifery (GNM) passed candidates who have completed Certificate Course in Community Health (CCH) through IGNOU/ other State Public Health/ Medical Universities as per curriculum of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of India

BSHS CHO Recruitment 2025 Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 years (as on 01 April 2025)
• Maximum Age:
  • Male (General/EWS): 42 years
  • Female (General/EWS), BC/MBC candidates: 45 years
  • SC/ST candidates: 47 years

Age relaxation applicable as per Government norms.

BSHS CHO Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The selection process includes:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)

Note: Candidates must score at least 30% to qualify for the CBT.
